Fritz Dark Water Almond Leaf Extract is a unique freshwater conditioner that contains concentrated tannins taken from the leaves of the terminalia catappa tree, or more commonly known as Indian Almond Leaves. These leaves help to create an murky, blackwater environment more realistic to the natural habitats of soft water fish such as bettas, discus, tetras, angelfish, killifish and shrimp. The leaves promote vitality and vibrant coloration, and also contain humic acids that boast antibacterial properties and naturally lower pH levels within the aquarium.
